Fight smack in the orphanage!

If you don’t know about Black Dynamite, now you do! Black Dynamite is an amazing film I have been following for quite some time. The film revolves around a character named “Black Dynamite,” played by Michael Jai White (of Spawn movie fame), who is one bad mutha…  I think the synopsis from the official movie site sums it up best:

When “The Man” murders his brother, pumps heroin into local orphanages, and floods the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor, Black Dynamite is the one hero willing to fight all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House.

Really, do you need to know any more than that? I don’t think so.

Be sure you stop by the official movie site to see another clip from the film and to check out the rich history of Blaxploitation films. The Blaxploitation genre was born in the late 60’s and 70’s but has since then died out. I am ready for someone NEW to stick it to “The Man!” Ever since the day I saw the first trailer for the film I couldn’t wait for it to hit theaters. Finally, Black Dynamite has a release date: October 16th, 2009. Can you dig it?
