Last week I shared some comic tidbits from around the internet with everyone. I had such a good time with it, I’m gonna do it again! Here we go:

NEMESIS interview: Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, the team behind CIVIL WAR and OLD MAN LOGAN, have a new comic comic out in March, NEMESIS. They stop by comic book resources to talk it up and show off some art.

GIFTS!: It’s the time of year when everyone does a holiday gift list. The ain’t it cool list is so big it spans three posts, while the list from “She Has No Head!” is very well thought out (if not a bit feminist).

INDEPENDENTS DAY: The week of December 30th, Diamond Distribution isn’t putting out any books, so it gives independent books a week to shine! You can read all about the event here. Things From Another World, a great comic shop chain up in Oregon, is taking submissions for the event. We here at Semantink are going to be getting involved in this one, so more news to come!

STEAMPUNK: Here is a interesting video on the technology behind steampunk. The whole video appears to take place at a steampunk fair. I didn’t even know they had steampunk fairs.

THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR: The folks over at comics alliance have put together a pretty funny list of the twelve best DC comics holiday specials.
